Yoga is an excellent tool to create relaxation around the possible stress of becoming pregnant and some postures may benefit the reproductive system - for both men and women. It is a great space to learn to listen to your body and to how you feel physically and emotionally. You can join an 'open class', come to a specified workshop or schedule a private class to suit your requirements.
Pregnancy yoga
aim to encourage women to create strength, flexibility and relaxation - physically, mentally and emotionally. In the journey to motherhood, pregnancy and postnatal, yoga can support a woman to listen to her body’s intelligence and during pregnancy connect with her baby. Expect physical postures influenced by Vinyasa Flow Yoga, breath awareness and relaxation.
Recommended from week 14 until birth.
Before your class please fill in this Health Form and read the advice.
Please check with your health consultant if you have any concerns.
is a safe way to get back into shape, find core strength and relaxation. Create moments of ‘me-time’ during this change to motherhood. Postnatal yoga is enjoyable for both mums and babies together or for the mother without her baby (in private classes).
The class is for mums and babies (6 weeks after birth/8 if c-section - please check that you are healed and ready to go with your GP) until crawling.
Please fill in this Health Form and bring to the first class.
