I was nervous to go to Yoga. I was intimidated. Would I be able to do it? However, you, Anja, were so welcoming. The energy of the class and the actual physical room has always been open and light and calm and perfect. You easily offer modifications for the varying levels of ability. The language you use is so awesome. You seem to say the exact thing that I need to hear, at the right time. Practice is fun!!!!! I miss it. I miss the 90 minutes dedicated to a different rhythm from my usual forwarding motion/held day-to-day.

I come to the Vinyasa Flow classes in Streatham because I can step out of my house and a minute later I step into the calm of the yoga studio where nothing is required of me but just to follow Anja's instructions and do yoga! Well I say yoga, but it's my own version. Anja is a wonderful teacher - accepts everyone and takes them to the next stage on the journey. How she keeps a room full of people who have come to her after a long day's work motivated to spend another hour or so pushing themselves both physically and mentally is really a gift. Her workshops are great too - very busy but not tiring at all. I look forward to the classes very much and always sleep better afterwards. despite the physical effort, I never never any pain or discomfort afterwards.

Anja is a wonderful teacher, so knowledgeable, calm and fun - I've tried many classes and hers are that perfect combination of relaxation, exercise, spirituality and meditation. I leave every class feeling sane, grounded and peaceful.

I had attended yoga classes in the past, but attending Anja's yoga class has offered to me another perspective of practising. I feel my body and mind work together and all the small details that are mentioned in the lesson make me aware of my posture and breathing. I am learning how to work with how my body feels every moment; I listen to the guidance myself gives me, which I might ignore in the everyday life. After the class I feel my body and senses to be opened, expanded; I feel calm and refreshed; I feel taller! My spine, pelvis bones and limbs moving as a new machine as I am walking on the pavement back home. Another thing that it is very important is that Anja's class acknowledges that we are living in a crazy rhythm in one of the busiest cities of the world, London, which absolutely affect our sense of our body and how our mind works and consequently how we experience and practising yoga.
