Reusable pads for a sustainable period

I have sung the praises for period pants for a long time (here). They are a total game changer. But I never tried the forerunner; the reusable period pads.

So I was very excited when WUKA (my fav period pants company) sent me some new products. WUKA® has joined forces with Mooncup® to launch limited edition reusable pads made from offcuts.

What I love about the new reusable period pads are the different sizes. They have one for ‘light flow’ which I feel has been missing in my life:

  • For the times when you think you might start your period and don’t really want to use up all your period pants before you actually get your period.

  • And for day 4 or 5 when you think it’s nearly finished but it could start to really flow again…

I have a feeling I’ll be ordering a few more of those. And they are very light and thin. They are like pantyliners but feel much more comfortable.

I have yet to try them as I haven’t had my period since I received them - so I shall be updating here.

They are of course also perfect for those who use a mooncup and would like some extra protection!

Here is my link to the WUKA website and I have a special £5 discount when you go through this link and use code RUBY5 or use ANJA_YOGINI anytime through the whole range of period pants.

From their joint press release: The first silicone menstrual cup in the world, Mooncup started in Brighton in 2002 setting standards for environmentally friendly period products. WUKA, started in 2017, is the first British company manufacturing and selling period pants. This unique collaboration between two supposedly competing brands demonstrates the true commitment of two leading, dynamic female-led businesses to give consumers more choice whilst helping tackle the environmental waste produced by the corporate giants before them.

You can always use my code ANJA_YOGINI for discounts through my affiliated WUKA link.
