Relaxing and Stretching during Pregnancy – video

Here is the third and final part of our little prenatal yoga class.

In this 20 minute session we will take you through some very gentle but effective stretches to keep the body spacious and the mind calm. All you need is a wall/door and a chair.

Yoga has many benefits during pregnancy. And can be practised all the way until and while you birth your baby. Some of the practises and breathing in this short video are great to find focus, relaxation and a meditative mind which you can bring to your labour and delivery.

We enjoy stretches to the legs, shoulders, back and hips as well as connecting to the pelvic floor.

The video is an insight to Lily’s first yoga class at 33 weeks pregnant. Lily is the designer and founder at Lexie Sport. Her class started with gentle breathing and shoulder stretches in this video and then we went on to a flowing sun salutation here.
