sweet dreams – soft feet

I have just written a blog on Huffington Post on How to Sleep Better.

One of the things that has helped me is a good ayurvedic advice on how to ground ourselves using oil massage, or abhyanga. Massaging oil on the feet will not only keep you grounded, moisturise the feet and be a good massage/reflexology – it will also quiet a busy anxious mind.

I have now tried out Yogandha‘s Relax Oil which contains various pure essential oils. Vetiver is probably the most grounding oil I have ever used. Frankincense which makes you breathe easy and slowly ahhh and chamomile which we have used for generations to make us sleep and relax. The base oil include sesame which is slightly warming in ayurveda and very nourishing. But any oil is great for foot massage, and you may find yourself trying out different essential oils for the perfect mix.

The mantra Sinead of Yogandha associates with this oil is:

pratistham dhehi (may I rest in that nourishment)

Yes, I like that!
