Hi, I am Anja
Author of Teaching Yoga for the Menstrual Cycle - an Āyurvedic Approach, a yoga teacher with over 18 years of experience and an ayurvedic practitioner (BSc, PGDip).
Through my experience as a yoga teacher I specialised in pre- and postpartum yoga. This sparked my interest in the pelvic and pelvic floor health. Something so rarely discussed - yet something so many people experience complications with such as painful sex, tailbone pain, feeling disconnected and ungrounded - to incontinence and prolapse.
I continued to study the female pelvis including a training as a ‘Female Pelvic Floor Training for birth and wellness practitioners’, a Vaginal Steam Facilitator, and how to apply the pre- and postpartum pelvic health for those not having children. In this course I share some of these insights.
