Hi, I am Anja

Author of Teaching Yoga for the Menstrual Cycle - an Āyurvedic Approach, a yoga teacher with over 18 years of experience and an ayurvedic practitioner (BSc, PGDip).

I am also a woman who has had periods for 35 years, seen clients and students with period pain and menstrual challenges, and had countless discussions with female friends about menstrual cramps and our cycles.

I know what period pains are. I’ve experienced them! And I’ve supported clients who had it much more intense than myself. I’ve been (and still am) frustrated with the lack of research, education and support for female health so I started to study. This became the foundation of my book. For this course, I will share more about herbs and ayurvedic self-care techniques such as massage, oils, and castor oil packs.

    The lessons are pre-recorded on video with slides.

    Yoga and yoga nidra are yoga videos with clear instructions.

    You'll also get documents to refer to for both herbs/spices and oils. As well as for the yoga poses.

  • The video lectures are around 15 minutes each. One a bit shorter and another a bit longer.

    A total of 6 lectures excluding the introduction, yoga practice and yoga nidra.

    You can watch it all in a day like a workshop or take your time.

    And of course you can watch them again and again....
